Starting any new business is challenging but incredibly rewarding. The opening of www.beautifuldemoiselle has taken me on a journey into a new world of ideas, the enormity of the internet and a great deal of technical jargin which I am not sure I will ever understand. Luckily we are a family company and my wonderful husband can keep me up to date and prevent any disasters…. At the age of 33 I had given up work in the city, had a baby. Whilst living in my lovely calm Brighton “bubble”, after the hectic pace of working in London, was great for a while but I found I needed a new focus, apart ofcourse from our beautiful baby boy. I originally came up with the idea to build my own website, I am passionate about the environment and the world I will be leaving my son to live in, so I wanted products which would respect my ethical and environmental values. I have carefully selected my suppliers and aim to provide a shopping experience where you can find the best in childrens toys and gifts for women and feel confident you are not paying over the odds to be kind to your environment and support the people who work hard to produce these goods.
