Pedal cars are a nostalgic part of childhood. If you didn’t have one when you were a kid, you probably wanted one. Now, you can buy your own kids a pedal car and share the excitement with them. What a great way to relive your youth.

Here are a few  tips which we hope you will find helpful if you are thinking about buying a Pedal Car ….

Step 1 – Measure your child. It’s not as much fun if your feet don’t reach the pedals. Most cars are built to a standard size and will fit kids up to four feet tall. We reccomend buying for 3yrs + however our chief tester is only 2 and absolutely loves all the pedal cars we stock. His feet are just reaching the pedals now, please don’t hesitate to email us if you are unsure.

Step 2 – Browse the styles, our Pedal cars are available in everything from classic-car styles to fire engines and for the younger children the ride- on toys are really beautifully designed.

Step 3 – Commit to regular maintenance. A pedal car is both a toy and a vehicle. Be prepared to give the car a regular tune-up to be sure the pedals, wheels and steering wheel are secure. Break-downs in the middle of play can be disappointing for the kids.

Step 4 – Supervise play. Once you have bought your kids a pedal car, we would advise adult supervision. Children should wear shoes while operating a pedal car, and the area should be free of hazards, such as swimming pools. Our pedal cars are designed for only one rider. Following basic safety procedures and manufacturer’s recommendations for operation will prolong the life of your pedal car and keep your kids safe.
